ABOUT US

The Beautiful Failures have never aspired to be your typical alt-country band, and having eight people in the line up makes the band 'different' right from the start.

Hailing from Manchester in the UK, they represent a particularly British style of alt-country. Blending provoking melodies and insightful, enchanting lyrics that capture the imagination and provide a musical backdrop to everyday life.

Since their emergence in 2023 the band have been solidly building a body of material to play to live audiences. Consequently, the band takes a disciplined and committed approach to creating and releasing high quality recorded work on a regular basis.

Within the mix of songs you'll hear echos of Country, Americana, Blues, Roots and Rock, presented in a way that perfectly blends these styles together seamlessly. Tracks like 'Santa Ana Calling' and 'Cowboys In Tangier' have been significant stand out songs for the band.

"Santa Ana Calling is washed in a beautiful bittersweet sunset that feels like the credits are about to roll on a coming-of-age film in California".

ROGUE RADIO - 2024

"Riding The Tailgate is a surefire hit-to-be".

RNR MAGAZINE - 2024

"The recording and writing process is very human and organic" says Warren Gaskell. "There's no reliance on technology for performance enhancement purposes. We rock up to the studio with a rough structure and idea of where we want each track to go and then begin shaping as each song develops".

The band sometimes explores impossibly deep and heavy subject matter in a sensitive way, but there's light as well as darkness, and the writing delves deep to expose the often complicated truths that make up real life.

The Beautiful Failures are only just getting started. Following on from their six track debut EP 'Riding The Tailgate' and then their first full album 'Cowboys In Tangier' there are three new singles planned for release this year followed later by a new full album. The band is busy you might say!

"We have a clear understanding of what defines the bands sound and we know where we're going with it" says Warren Gaskell. Ultimately, dive-in and discover for yourself what makes the band worth exploring. Give it a go, you never know what you'll find.

"The Beautiful Failures are from Manchester, England... home of The Hollies, Oasis, The Smiths and 10cc and are made up of eight hugely talented musicians that embrace Country, Americana, Roots, Blues and Rock in their clever music".
